This file is
here to help users who are having difficulties using areas of the spreadsheet.
Opening the File
To open the file you can choose either of the following options; open Microsoft Excel go the ‘File’ tab and chooses ‘Open’ in the list on the left of screen. Alternatively a user can open their file library to where the file is saved and double click it. Refer to figure 2.
Closing the File
To close the file a user may choose either one of two options; selecting the ‘File’ tab and clicking ‘Close’ (located in the left-hand column). Or a user can simply click the ‘X’ in the top right corner. (Either of these options may result in a warning that the file has not been saved, to see what to do when this occurs see: Saving and printing the file). Refer to figure 1 and figure 2.

Saving and Printing the File
Before exiting your file you should save any changes you have made to it if you want them to be there when you next open it. To save a file there are two options; selecting the ‘File’ tab and clicking ‘Save’ from the list of options on the left. Or simply clicking on the small floppy disk symbol (located above the ‘File’ tab).
To print the file, or different areas of it a user should go to the ‘File’ tab and click ‘Print’. This will bring up the option to ‘Print Active Sheets’ (this option will only print the sheet a user was looking at before they went to print), ‘Print Entire Workbook’(this option will print the entire workbook for a user) or ‘Print Section’ (this option will only print a pre-selected section of the document- the user has to select or highlight this selection before they go to print). Refer to figure 2.

Accessing different Spreadsheets
To access the different sheets of this file choose the main menu button that appears at the top of every layout (except for the main menu itself). Once the main menu has been accessed the user can select any of the buttons to take them to the layout they are looking for. Refer to figures 3 and 4.

Adjusting the Values
Some values in this spreadsheet cannot be adjusted, as it is unnecessary to edit these values. To edit the values (that are editable) a user simply needs to select the cell they wish to edit and enter the new value.
If the data you wish to edit is in a protected area of the spreasdsheet you will have to select the ‘Review’ tab and unprotect the worksheet, this will enable all areas of the sheet to be edited. Refer to figure 5.
